Conversation with Rebecca Rukeyser and Adrian Duncan

For many authors, Berlin is the ideal place to de ne what the term “home” actually means to them.
Berliners-by-choice Rebecca Rukeyser and Adrian Duncan also use the city to take an outsider’s perspective on the places they come from. While Rukeyser writes about Alaska, California, and frontiers in 21st century America in her quirky and brilliant debut, Duncan tells a beautiful Cold War story in rural Ireland. Look forward to an exciting conversation with both authors about their relationships with Berlin and decision to write about their own homeland.
