British-born Sharon Dodua Otoo, winner of the 2016 Ingeborg Bachmann Prize and author of two celebrated novellas, is a highly respected member of the international Berlin literary scene and also works as an editor, curator, and political activist. Her critically acclaimed debut novel “Adas Raum”, first published in German by S. Fischer in 2021, was recently translated by Jon Cho-Polizzi and published by MacLehose Press. At our event, Sharon Dodua Otoo will read from the English translation and talk about her work on the page and beyond.
